The New Alone
Those of you who've been following me and following my books know that I've been working on Alone in the Fight for a long time. Maybe two years. Maybe longer. I hit some turbulence and grief in my life, which slowed me down, if not stopped me.
But that's over now, and I'm back. Back in the saddle with a new look, Alone. But the story has taken on an international flavor that swirls around and ends up on the Hill. Detective George Rausher not only fights the Italian mobs — the Camorra and the Sicilians — but the Chinese, too, and New York's Five Families, and, believe it or not, the Irish mob, the Kinahan Syndicate.
And today, it's no longer who can survive the bloodbath, but who has the brains and guts to survive, period. Rausher against all this?
Now you know why it's called, Alone in the Fight.
